We spend a day at Treptow. Near Kreuzberg, this area has many attractions. Even though the weather is not that great we go to the Badeschiff where Daniel is having an open air swim. On monday nights they also show good movies there. Only a few meters away is a great flea market that we also have a quick look at. What would Berlin be without its many parks. In the park nearby stands an old watchtower from GDR times which is now the amongst other things an opera house.

Badeschiff is fantastic! Last year we went to a scandi-DJ night there and it was indeed a bit of an adventure to find out where it was from Treptower Park S-bahn, but we had just to follow people and the bikes!
The pool glows like an emerald in the onyx-black Spree at night and is so inviting…the bar is well-stocked and the prices very reasonable! a very groovy place indeed…and around the corner plenty of small bars and restaurants with live video performances…in the distance the silhouettes of Molecular Man…
